Description: Registers show the number of demerits received for each delinquency; the cumulative totals of demerits received by each cadet annually, semiannually, or monthly; and any demerits deleted from the record. Additional notations indicate State from which the cadet was appointed and the date of his graduation, resignation, or discharge because of academic or physical deficiency. Demerits were given for relatively minor infractions. Serious infractions, warranting stronger punishment, are also recorded in the registers described in RG 404, Series 105. Delinquencies after 1913 are recorded as abstracts in RG 404, Series 104.
